Lauren has extensive experience working with Traditional Owner groups, Aboriginal corporations and industry stakeholders to develop strong partnerships and deliver outcomes that meet both organisational and community expectations.
Her work focuses on agreement governance, stakeholder engagement strategy, business improvement and systems development.
Lauren has held senior roles with Rio Tinto and Chevron and has led a number of major improvement initiatives relating to Traditional Owner partnerships, ESG compliance and engagement processes.
Her approach combines strategic thinking with practical implementation - helping organisations strengthen governance frameworks, improve systems and embed new ways of working.
Carlin Hughes
A senior operations, safety, and community engagement professional with more than 16 years’ experience delivering complex projects across Australia’s oil and gas sector.
In addition to extensive leadership roles in operations, SIMOPS, and health and safety on Chevron’s Gorgon and Wheatstone LNG projects, Carlin has played a key role in community consultation and stakeholder engagement.
He worked closely with Aboriginal communities to support the establishment and implementation of Native Title and State Agreements, helping strengthen Chevron’s social licence to operate.
Carlin is recognised for his ability to lead diverse teams, engage respectfully with Traditional Owners, government bodies, and project stakeholders, and align community outcomes with operational and regulatory requirements. His leadership style combines cultural awareness, strategic engagement, and strong governance to deliver sustainable project outcomes.
